Welcome to Old Fashioned Times!

When I originally created this website it was with intent to share things I loved about the past. Over the past few years the site and its direction have slowly evolved. Usually, things stay the same for a long while, with a few updates here and there. Then, suddenly, because I've been inspired in some form or fashion, I make radical changes to reflect my new additions, desires, and directions.

The newest direction for this website is to make it a place for you to learn how to live simply and authentically. The resources you will find on this site have been used and tested and include my own experience and practices.

On these pages you will find recipes, sewing lessons, help for teaching children how to make a home, homeschool resources, and Biblical encouragement. In the future, new sections for household hints, budgeting, and decorating will be added along with more nostalgic tidbits and information.

You can also join the Old Fashioned Times messageboard and have online discussions with other members.

It is my hope that you enjoy the pages you find here and are able to use the information provided. If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments please feel free to contact me through the link provided at the bottom of this page or through the OFT messageboard.

In friendship,

Revee
